We polish and color buff all your aluminum parts to a mirror finish. In addition, we could apply extra durable plating or anodizing on aluminum parts if requested.
Brass Plating
We provide a brass plating process on most parts. All the steps are the same as chrome plating, but instead of chrome, we plate brass over the part.
Bright Nickel
This process is mostly performed on all chrome jobs. We normally plate semi bright nickel under bright nickel for rust proofing.
Copper
This process will fill small microscopic pits in old parts, and will bring anti-rust solutions to auto parts that are exposed to salts and snow on road.
Die Cast
To process any die cast for plating, we apply copper cyanide as a first coat to protect the integrity of the metal and then apply any other plating to this surface.
Hex-Chrome
Hex chromium is the shiniest and most durable chrome available, not many platers have the special permit to process this chemical . If you are shopping around for chroming, make sure to ask for hex chromium.
Metal Repair
Our experienced metal craftsman will make your old parts look new: Soldering, welding, patching and so many other practices will be used to restore your parts.
Museum Finish
This is the most time consuming and elegant of all our processes. We guarantee this finish for as long as you own the part.
Plastic bumper Restoration
Our plastic division is able to repair and weld most damaged plastic bumpers. We will prep your bumper with a gray primer so your body shop can finish the color.
Polishing & Mirror Buffing
Our full polishing department has trained staff to perform all our polishing projects. Our experienced color buffers will bring an extra gloss finish to any plating job.
Pot Metal Repair
Soldering, grinding, and repeated cyanide copper plating will bring most damaged die cast parts back to a almost original surface.
Powder Coating
We will provide you with color charts to choose any powder coating finish on your internal car's part.
Sand Blasting
The first two levels of finishing get sand blasted on all our bumpers. This process will strip any previous plating or area we can't reach with a grinder.
Show Finish
This is the second level of finish we offer, your parts will get more attention to detail and thicknesses of plating. we warranty our finishing for five years with this unique process.
Stainless Steel
Chrome 1 has experience polishing stainless parts to a chrome mirror finish without plating. We can also provide chrome plating on rust proof metals.
Standard Finish
This is one of the best standard finishes we provide. This finish is under warranty for one year.
